Registration Information

​

• Payment must be made in full at the time of registration through Eventbrite

• Early bird registration offers the opportunity to register at a substantial discount. It expires after March 6th 2022.

• There are 100 spaces for the pre-conference workshops and networking event.

• There are 130 spaces for the in-person conference which will be filled on a first come/first served basis.

• There are no limits on registrants for the online conference.

 

Note: The maximum numbers for the pre-conference workshops and networking event and for the in-person conference relate to the maximum person-capacity of those venues. In the event that pandemic-related events cause a reduction in the allowed in-person attendance (due to required social distancing) we will notify all those registered for these events as soon as possible. We retain the option to transfer to an online-only conference if local pandemic-related restrictions require this.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation terms are as follows:

• Cancellation up to 30 days before: full refund less a processing fee. (Refund processed through Eventbrite.)

• 50% refund up to one week prior to the event (April 2nd 2022). (Refund processed through SPR LC Council.)

• No refund after midnight April 7th 2022.

• Registrants who are unable to attend may substitute a colleague by writing to the SPR UK Honorary Secretary and requesting the registration of the substitute. It is essential that substitutes formally register.

• Exceptions to this cancellation may be submitted to the SPR LC Council through the SPR President.

The committee reserves the right to make changes to these cancellation terms in the event of pandemic-related local rules that impact travel/large gatherings etc.

 

Photography

During the in-person conference, photographs may be taken and published on the SPR website.  If you do not wish to be photographed, please speak with staff at the registration desk for instructions.

 

Conference Fees

​

Conference fees have been set to include a discount for those attending online which allows for the costs of catering for in-person attendees.

What is included in the in-person conference registration fee?

​

• Access to all conference sessions

• Coffee, tea juice and croissants upon arrival

• 2 Course Buffet Lunch with Fresh Orange, Tea and Coffee

• Tea, Coffee and Cake in the afternoon

In-person attendees will also be given the option to attend the Friday (April 8th 2022) workshops and social event at the Northern Monk Brewery. The £5 ticket fee also covers a talk provided by the brewery and beer tasting.  This event space has a smaller capacity than the Rose Bowl conference venue so tickets will be sold on a first-come/first-served basis.

 

What is included in the online conference registration fee?

Access to all conference sessions (live streamed and online).
